Orange Tin – Gin No.1 - Orange peel, Nutmeg & All Spice
Tasting Notes
Orange and juniper lead both the nose and the palate. The warming winter spices follow with subtle hints of star anise on the finish.
Serving Suggestion
We suggest serving as a classic G&T with a robust tonic like Fever Tree or 1724 and garnishing with a slice of orange.
Pale Blue Tin – Gin No.2 – Coriander, Cardamom & Lemon Peel
Tasting Notes
A smooth crisp gin with juniper at the forefront, citrus notes of lemon and orange, finishing on a floral spicy kick from the cardamom.
Serving Suggestion
Serve over ice with tonic and garnish with pink grapefruit. Alternatively mix up as a Martini.
Deep Green Tin – Gin No.3- Black Pepper, Cassia Bark & Cloves
Tasting Notes
Juniper and orange at the forefront with warming notes of black pepper and cloves on the nose and palate. Cassia bark towards the end with a big warming heat on the finish.
Serving Suggestion
Drink as a sipping gin, neat on the rocks with a slice of orange. Can also be drunk as G&T, again using orange as a garnish. Lots of tonics work well with this, so have fun experimenting.
Pale Green Tin – Gin No.6 – Rhubarb, Cinnamon & Ginger
Tasting Notes
Sharp notes from the fresh rhubarb are at the forefront which then subside to reveal the juniper and earthy tones of cinnamon. Finally the blend concludes on a note of warmth from the fresh ginger.
Serving Suggestions
As a classic G&T with Fentimans tonic and a garnish of orange zest.
Navy Blue Tin – Gin No.7 –Fennel, Lemon & Thyme
Tasting Notes
Fennel runs throughout the gin, whilst the juniper provides a strong persistent backdrop with refreshing citrus and thyme undertones.
Serving Suggestions
Serve as a classic G&T or what about with a summer twist, and serve with Sicilian lemonade in replacement of tonic water and garnish with lemon?
Purple Tin – Gin No.8 –Angelica, Samphire & Coriader
Tasting Notes
The Nose: has big fresh green notes with underlying citrus tones.
The Mouth: juniper and coriander are up front followed by a citrus body, and to conclude, fresh green notes of the samphire and slight salt, tickle the taste buds.
Serving Suggestions
Serve in a classic G&T style with a contemporary twist with the addition of Luscombe succulent pink grapefruit tonic water to enhance the delicate citrus tones. Garnish with a slice of pink grapefruit or sprig of samphire (and pinch of salt if you dare) to make a wonderful summer cocktail.
Pink Tin – Gin No.10 –Raspberry, Cardamom & Pomegranate
Tasting Notes
The Nose: has subtle cardamom, with a mix of pomegranate and raspberry rising at the top.
The Mouth: juniper sits at the forefront, followed by pomegranate notes and fresh raspberry to finish this delicious summer blend.
Serving Suggestions
Serve over ice with tonic and garnish with lime leaf and pomegranate seeds.
Charcoal Grey Tin – Gin No.11 – Fuggle Hops, Coriander Seed & Maris Otter Malt
Tasting Notes
The Nose: A big nose of hops, blackcurrant spicy notes at the front and slight maris otter malt in the background.
The Mouth: Subtle juicy blackcurrant notes at the forefront, followed by well-rounded spice/warmth, backed by sweeter notes from the malt. Followed by further fruit notes from the hops to conclude.
Serving Suggestions
As a classic G&T with Seagram’s tonic water and garnish with fresh ginger and lemon zest to draw out the hops further.
Mustard Yellow Tin – Gin No.12 – pumpkin, Orange Peel & Nutmeg
Tasting Notes
The Nose: Pumpkin sits at the forefront, with other spices coming through on the finish.
The Mouth: Opens with juniper, followed by softer pumpkin, vegetable/nutty notes and warming spices to conclude.
Serving Suggestions
We suggest serving as a classic G&T with a robust tonic like 1724 and garnish with a sprig of thyme.
Teal Green Tin – Gin No.13 – Ginger, Angelica Root & Lemon Peel
Tasting Notes
The Nose: distinctive earthy ginger on the nose with a subtle lemon finish.
The Mouth: juniper sits at the forefront, followed by an earthy body of ginger leading to hits of lemon before returning to the warmth of the ginger.
Serving Suggestions
Mix as a classic G&T with lighter tonics such as Franklin & Sons, or Fever Tree light and garnish with lemon peel.
Berry Red Tin – Gin No.14 – Packham Pear, Cinnamon & Orange Peel
Tasting Notes
The Nose: A lovely balance of cinnamon, ginger, orange and pear throughout.
The Mouth: Juniper lies at the forefront, with pear in the body, the spice combination follows on the finish, leaving you with ongoing warmth from the orange, ginger and cinnamon.
Serving Suggestions As a classic G&T with Schweppes original no nonsense tonic water and garnish with orange peel.
Peppermint Green Tin – Gin No.17 – Fig, Sage & Thyme
Tasting Notes:
The Nose: This hibiscus gin has an equal balance of fig, sage, and thyme throughout.
The Mouth: Juniper and thyme lead at the forefront, with fresh fig in the body. The addition of sage and other herbs adds a herbal twist to follow on the palate and concluded with a freshness of fig coming to the forefront leaving you with a sweet glowing warmth
